ROCHESTER, N.Y. (FLX) — The field is set, the stakes are high, and the road to FLX Tour glory leads to Deerfield Golf Course.
The fifth annual FLX Cup is set for Saturday, September 12, 2026, bringing 44 FLX Tour pros together for the final major championship of the season. The singles event will give every player a shot at glory — and a shot at the $500 grand prize.
Cash prizes will also be awarded to the second- and third-place finishers, while the traditional Closest to the Pin Challenge will once again give players another opportunity to walk away with some extra cash.
Entry into the FLX Cup is $25. Players will also have the option to purchase breakfast balls on both the first and 10th holes, with proceeds going toward juicing the tournament pot. Because apparently one way to make a pressure-packed major even more stressful is to add more money to the equation.
But the FLX Cup isn’t just about the championship.
With the 2026 Danny Ott Young Man of the Year award also on the line, every shot at Deerfield could have implications beyond the tournament itself. The season-long race will come down to the final major, with plenty of drama still to be settled.
The FLX Cup has become one of the premier events on the Tour calendar, and this year’s edition promises to deliver the same combination of pressure, competition, and questionable decision-making that has made the FLX Tour what it is.
44 players. One cup. $500 on the line. History, and the Young Man of the Year hanging in the balance. It’s time to settle the season.
Tee times and pairings will be announced in the coming weeks.
