Teams set for 2026 Commissioner’s Cup

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (FLX) — The stage is set.

Following Monday night’s draft on April 20, the teams are officially locked in for the 2026 FLX Tour Commissioner’s Cup, setting up another chapter in what’s quickly becoming one of the tour’s most competitive traditions.

The Ryder Cup-style showdown returns Saturday, May 2 at Shadow Lake Golf Course, with the first tee time set for 8 a.m.

This year’s format will feature a 10-on-10 shamble, two alternates for each team, balanced rosters built for both strategy and chemistry. While each team drafted 12 players, only 10 will compete on match day—meaning tough lineup decisions still lie ahead.

The Stakes

There’s no purse. No payout. Just pride.

The Commissioner’s Cup is about bragging rights, legacy, and the kind of competitive energy that defines the FLX Tour.

And this year, the storyline is clear:

  • Team Matt enters as the defending powerhouse, chasing a three-peat after winning the first two editions of the event. Confidence is high, and expectations are even higher.
  • Team Shane is hungry. After coming painfully close last year, they return with a retooled roster and something to prove—still in search of their first Commissioner’s Cup victory.

Team Matt

  • Matt Driffill
  • Uncle Chris
  • Danny D
  • Tim Dorsheimer
  • Kiwi
  • Mykola Prokopenko
  • Chuck Pace
  • Brandon Moynihan
  • Michael DiMuro
  • Ryan Netchke
  • Dan D Sr
  • Brier Koroly

Team Shane

  • Shane Driffill
  • Joe Mortillaro
  • Sean Sawyer
  • Zach Stedman
  • Benjamin Annal
  • Chad Christ
  • Scott Stedman
  • P Moynihan
  • Mike Mortillaro
  • Lou Englert
  • Kyle Pierce
  • Boneski

From veterans to rising contributors, both sides bring a mix of experience, firepower, and familiarity that should translate into tight matches across the board.

What’s Next

Pairings and matchups will be announced in the coming days, adding another layer of intrigue as captains finalize their strategy and lineups.

Until then, the anticipation builds.

A three-peat on the line. Redemption within reach. And one morning at Shadow Lake that will decide it all.
