2025 FLX Cup groups and tee times announced

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (FLX) — The FLX Tour is closing out the season in style with the FLX Cup on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Ravenwood Golf Course.

A full field of 48 players — the largest field in Tour history — will compete in this singles event, each battling for a share of more than $1,000 in total prizes. With just a $25 entry, the Cup continues the Tour’s tradition of delivering high-stakes competition at an incredible value.

The FLX Cup is a singles-style, stroke-play tournament. Every player will face off against the entire field over 18 holes, with the lowest scores rising to the top (including handicaps, of course, for Uncle Chris). To keep play moving smoothly, the event will feature a 10-stroke maximum per hole.

“That rule is for everyone,” said FLX Tour Rules Czar Joey Mortillaro. “Maybe that rule is for some players more than others, but it’s for everyone. We want to make sure everyone can get finished in time for the group photo.”

Adding to the drama, the Cup also serves as the deciding event for the Young Man of the Year Award — the Tour’s Player of the Year honor. That means every drive, chip, and putt at Ravenwood could decide not just the Cup champion, but the season’s ultimate award winner. History in the making folks. You can feel it in your bones.

What They’re Saying

Tournament officials are already buzzing with anticipation, according to Chat GPT:

“The FLX Cup is always one of the highlights of our season, and with such a strong field this year, we’re expecting an incredible day of golf,” said one Tour organizer.

“Ravenwood is a fantastic stage for competition. Players will need precision and focus from the first tee shot to the final putt,” added another official.

With money, pride, and the Tour’s highest individual honor on the line, the FLX Cup promises plenty of drama. By Saturday evening, we’ll crown a new champion and officially recognize the 2025 Young Man of the Year.
