Roster set for 2025 Churchville Classic

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (FLX) — The field is officially locked in for the 2025 Churchville Classic, and it’s a big one.

With 44 golfers on the tee sheet, including five Pros making their FLX Tour debuts, this year’s tournament ties the record for the largest field in FLX Tour history, matching the turnout from the 2025 Grand Open.

That’s 22 teams in a two-man scramble format, setting the stage for one of the most competitive and chaotic events of the season.

The action kicks off Saturday, July 19 at Churchville Golf Course, with the first tee time at 7:30 a.m. and groups going off every 10 minutes through 9:20 a.m.

Players should plan to arrive early, warm up quickly, and be ready when their number is called. The pace of play is critical, and as always, sportsmanship and adherence to the rules are non-negotiable pillars of the Tour.

SPEAKING OF WHICH: A few words from our Rules Czar Joey Mortillaro:

” Paper scorecards will be given to each cart. Both teams will be on the scorecard to keep a true and honest tournament. One player from each team will keep the score for the live event on 18Birdies. Any disputes or discrepancies on the paper cards could result in a DQ . After your round review the scores with both teams. Thank you.”

Handicap and Team Drawing Info

The 35/15 rule will again govern team handicaps: 35% of the lower handicap and 15% of the higher handicap are combined for the team total. All names will be randomly drawn live — no stacking, no preferences, no trades.

Want to see how the pairings shake out? Tune in to the live team draw on Discord this Friday, July 11 at 6 p.m.

Every golfer’s name goes into the hat. The draw always brings drama, debate, and a little heartbreak, but it’s one of the most exciting nights of the Tour season. No scandals. We can’t right now. Seriously.

Team handicaps will be locked in by Wednesday, July 16. Make sure your 18 Birdies posted scores are up to date, and do your juicing while there’s time.

New Trophies. Real Prizes.

This year’s Churchville Classic features brand new hardware, including a pair of winners’ prizes the champs get to keep forever. Add that to the bragging rights and prize haul, and you’ve got one of the most coveted wins on the FLX calendar.

So come ready. Respect the game, respect your partner, and don’t hold anything back.

Entry for this tournmanet is $25 per participant. Look out for daily shame updates on payments from leadership on the FLX Tour Discord.
