Teams set for 2025 Commissioner’s Cup

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (FLX) — Pure electricity Thursday evening as FLX Tour Commissioners Shane and Matt Driffill drafted their treams for this year’s Commissioner’s Cup.

The dramatic draft live stream, hosted on FLX Tour discord, resulted in two heavy-hitting squads that are ready to battle it out in the annual Ryder-Cup style event, taking place Saturday, May 10, at Churchville Golf Course. With so many legends of the game particiapting, this promises to be another epic chapter in FLX Tour history.

Speaking of history, Team Matt is looking to go back-to-back, aiming to defend their title after winning the inaugural Commissioner’s Cup in 2024.

“It’s not business, this one’s personal,” Matt said. “I am confident in the team we’ve assembled, and I look forward to etching each of my comrades names into the FLX Tour’s Hall of Champions soon.”

“He’s a cocky man,” Shane said of his twin brother. “He goes for a fitting, gets new irons, breaks 90 a few times and he thinks he’s hot shit. We’re gonna serve him up some humble pie.”

Here’s how the teams stack up (each team has one alternate/bench spot):

Team Matt

  • Chris Miers
  • Sean Sawyer
  • Danny Driffill
  • Tim Dorsheimer
  • Chad Christ
  • Ryan Netchke
  • Patrick Moynihan
  • Boston Siwiec
  • Dan Risenberger
  • Evan Santiago

Matt’s team brings back a strong core of returning champions: Chris, Sean, Danny, Tim, D-Reis, and Ryan Netchke were all part of last year’s victorious squad. With a roster that blends proven winners and fresh energy, Team Matt is built for pressure moments. Look for them to lean on their chemistry and tournament experience as they try to run it back in 2025.

  • Dom Trento
  • Tom Deuire
  • Brendan Millward
  • Mykola Prokopenko

Shane’s team is hungry to spoil the party. Loaded with pure firepower and fearless energy, this roster features some serious talent from top to bottom. With players like Joey Mortillaro, Dom Trento, and Tom Deuire leading the charge, plus veteran leadership from Dan Driff Sr., Team Shane looks ready to bring the heat. Expect big swings, big putts, and a big-time effort to steal the Cup.
