Meet the Pros: Todd Horne

It’s that special time again …. we’re back with FLX Tour’s Meet the Pros!

This one is bound to send shockwaves as we sat down with one of the most polarizing pros on Tour: Todd Horne. He is a controversial figure, and currently under investigation after allegations of artificially inflating his handicap (aka inflategate).

Horne made waves in 2022 with is FLX Tour debut at the FLX Cup, notching a top 3 finish, but since becoming a father his attendance has been unreliable, resulting with a lowly No. 30 ranking currently for Young Man of the Year.

Horne will look to notich his first FLX major championship at the upcoming FLX Cup, but this kid is unbelievable. He’s even the proud owner of a hole in one back in 2017. Let’s find out more!

Name

— Todd M. Horne

*Editor’s note: FLX Tour’s Disciplinary Action Committee received several formal complaints regarding Todd Horne not entering scores into the 18 Birdies app and thus manufacturing a higher than accurate handicap. FLX officials say they take these allegations very seriously and the matter remains under investigation.

Who is your FLX Tour rival?

— Everyone likes to believe it’s Gene but really I’m still sour about losing last year’s Cup to the Chu *

*Editor’s note: Suck it Todd!

— Ravenwood

What’s your least favorite course?

— Durand

— Attend all 4 majors, achieve low score of the day without handicaps, and of course to win the coveted YMOTY award.

What’s your career best score on 18 holes and what course was it?

— 82

What advice would you give to any youngsters out there dreaming of one day playing on the Tour?

— Keep the vibes high, don’t be a bell ringer and don’t bleed in a pool with sharks

How would you rate your experience on the FLX Tour out of 10?

— 10/10

Stunning. Absolutely speechless.

With a win at the upcoming major, Tour pros will protest an asterisk into the Hall of Champions, but there’s no doubt that on his best day, Horne can swing with the best of them. And regardless of his result on the leaderboard, you can always count on this young man to be looking fresh as he’s always in contention for the Tour’s Best Dressed Award, presented by ABE.
