FLX Tour announces 2025 tournament schedule

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (FLX) — Dust off the clubs and embrace the spring thaw as FLX Tour officials announced Tuesday the tournament schedule for the upcoming season.

“We are back and ready for another thrilling year of competitve golf, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments,” said FLX Tour Co-Commissioner Shane Driffill. “We’re excited to unveil the official 2025 FLX Tour schedule, featuring five marquee events at some of the region’s top courses.”

This season’s schedule is follows:

  • Commissioner’s Cup – Saturday, May 10 at Churchville Golf Course
  • The Grand Open – Saturday, May 31 at Durand Eastman Golf Course
  • The Churchville Classic – Saturday, July 19 at Churchville Golf Course
  • The Genesee Invitational – Sunday, August 24 at Genesee Valley Golf Course
  • The FLX Cup – Saturday, October 4 at Ravenwood Golf Course

Tour officials say these events will test your skill, strategy, and competitive edge as you vie for FLX Tour glory in a number of different formats. Whether you’re a returning Tour Pro or new to the circuit, this season promises to deliver incredible competition and excitement at every stop.

Although not officially-sanctioned events, or tournaments, pros should be on the lookout on the Playing 18 Discrord for tune-up and early season gatherings, and even a simulator session. It’s hard to get everyone together around the holidays.

Introducing FLX Tour league dues: Investing in a stronger tomorrow

On top of the tournament dates, FLX Tour officials also hinted at a new payment expectation coming for Tour pros. Although specific details regarding the new league dues will be announced in the coming weeks, officials did confirm the new initiative.

“Unfortunately, the county parks courses got screwed by too may bad actors last year,” Shane Driffill said. “People — not the FLX, but others — would book hours of tee times and then only two or three foursomes would show up. So now there is a bit of red tape involved in booking the course dates and a depost is required for each event.”

FLX Tour officials said pros can expect more details on the league dues intiative soon, but added “the county is now requiring deposits for tournament dates, adding an upfront financial commitment to secure our courses. Dues will guarantee our dates are locked in and help the Tour offset administrative and organizational costs, like website server maintenance, trophy upgrades, and big checks.”

According to sources, the dues will also help with pre-order requirements on merch drops on exclusive hats and shirts, as well as funding for an end of season banquet, video production crews, and potientially tokens of appreciation for the Tour legends. Although not confirmed by press time, the number that was floated was $20 per Tour pro.

“We never wanna bust out the mooching bag, but we think it’s time,” Matt Driffill said. “Details to follow.”
