Meet the Pros: Danny Driffill

It’s that special time again …. we’re back with FLX Tour’s Meet the Pros!

Hold onto your butts folks as we sat down with Danny Driffill. The eldest Driffill bro is having the best season of the siblings, currently ranked No. 2 in the prestigious Young Man of the Year rankings after he defended his title at the Churchville Classic, becoming the first back-to-back winner at a major in FLX History.

How did he make the sudden leap from mediocre to the top of the leaderboard? The young man has been putting in the time on the course all year long. His son may not remember his name anymore, but this is the price we pay. Let’s get to know Danny!

ILLUMINATING! And yet another FLX Tour pro who says Shane is their rival, bringing the count up to five so far. Kid’s got a target on his back, but so does Danny Driffs.

He’s pairing up with 2023 Grand Open champion Brier Koroly on Sunday for the Genesee Invitational where he will look to become the first 3-time major champion in FLX Tour history. If he comes home empty handed, he might come home to an empty home after so many hours on the course and away from the family. A situation we’ll be watching closely!
