Meet the Pros: Brendan Millward

It’s that special time again …. we’re back with FLX Tour’s Meet the Pros!

No sweetener like a New Zealander! Brendan Millward is currently in his second year on the FLX Tour, boasting one of the lowest handicaps among pros and a dynamic No. 8 ranking currently for the coveted Young Man of the Year.

While still searching for that elusive major championship, Kiwi did claim a victory at a FLX Tour designated event last fall when he and his partner (a very hungover Matt Driffill) won the team best ball score for a round at Genesee Valley Golf Course. Fun fact: The winning duo on that day played a concert the night before with their respective bands at La Bola in Downtown Rochester. How they mustered through to achieve what they did that day confounds archeologists and anthropologists to this day. Anyways, let’s get to know this nice young man.

WHOA! A four star-rating from KIWI! And here we were thinking he was a nice guy! Perhaps he’s souring a bit as he still searches for his first major championship, but he’ll be in the running this Sunday at the Genesee Invitiational as him and his teammate Boston Slootmahker are among the few pairs that aren’t considered bell ringers for the FLX Tour’s 3rd major of the season.

Will he be able to climb the highest mountain? Find out, THIS SUNDAY AT GENESEE VALLEY GOLF COURSE BROTHER!
