Meet the Pros: Tom Deiure

It’s that special time again …. we’re back with FLX Tour’s Meet the Pros!

We got an absolute BALL STRIKER for you today with none other than Tom Deiure. A local golfing legend from his days representing the Lancers in the high school ranks, the youngest Deiure brother is a threat to win every time he steps to the tee box. Currently Ranked No. 7 in the Young Man of the Year rankings, he’s still seeking his first FLX Tour major victory, but the question isn’t if he will ever win one, but how many notches on his belt when he calls it a career. Let’s get to know Tom!

Name

— Tom Deiure

Birthday

— May 2, 1991 (year of the goat)

FLX Tour Nickname

— Pickles, Bagboye

How long can you hit your driver?

— Longer than Joey Mortillaro, 275-300+

What is your current handicap?

— 10

Who is your FLX Tour rival?

— Shane Driffill

What’s your favorite course?

— Lakeshore CC

What’s your least favorite course?

— Durand

Which three people would you choose for your dream foursome?

— Are we talking about anyone or from the tour? If anyone: Bam Margera, Tony Finau, Bmonys, Kevin Bacon. Loved him in Tremors. If we are from the tour: Bmoyns (putting) Sean (irons), Chris (wedges)

What’s your dream achievement as an FLX Tour pro?

— My dream as an FLX Tour Pro is to hole out on the 18th from 150 yards out while even through 17 going head to head against Shane, crushing his dreams of ever defeating me again in the game of golf. Then some Saudi guy meets me behind the clubhouse and puts me on a LIV team and buys my soul for 10 Mil.

What’s your career best score on 18 holes and what course was it?

— 76 – Lakeshore CC. It was a misty/light rainy day. About 70 degrees. I was wearing pants instead of shorts. That’s what did it.

What advice would you give to any youngsters out there dreaming of one day playing on the Tour?

— Stay on the range. This tour is beyond what you will ever be able to accomplish.

How would you rate your experience on the FLX Tour out of 10?

— 10/10

Stunning and brave.

It’s been said that Dan Driffill Sr. prefers Tom Deiure to any of his sons, especially when it comes to golf, and now we can understand why. This guy is a straight shooter and he’s not afraid to put lofty ambitions in those sights. We of course appreciate his willingness to work with and for that sweet, sweet Saudi dough.

Deuire will look to grab his first FLX victory at the upcoming Genesee Invitational, and he won’t take any prisoners on his path of destruction.
